About zeb
Zeb is a leading management consulting firm specializing in financial services, with over 1,200 employees and 800 specialists across 9 European countries. Our expertise spans strategy development, risk management, sales, organization, corporate management, human capital, and IT. Serving most of the top 50 European banks, we are known for our getting-things-done attitude.
Founded in 1992 by two professors from the University of Münster, Germany, we are strongly driven by analytics. We develop visions and strategies, make them calculable, and carry out their implementation, all while remaining focused on results.
Our consulting services are organized into various Practice Groups (PGs), including Risk & Advanced Methodology, Corporate & Institutional Banking, Private Banking, Digitalization & Digital Assets in FS, and Treasury & Asset Liability Management, among others.
Our Amsterdam office is looking for students and graduates with a strong quantitative background to grow our team further. The ideal candidate has an interest in finance, a sense for business, and strong communication skills.
High proficiency in English is a must, while advanced knowledge of Dutch or German is a great plus. Master’s (soon-to-be) graduates are welcome to apply for both internship and full-time consultant positions, while Bachelor students with above-average grades are encouraged to apply for internship opportunities. These opportunities are also available at our other international offices.
While zeb is established as one of the largest consultancy firms in financial services, our Dutch office is still in a growing phase, currently with 10 full-time consultants. We offer new joiners the opportunity to learn from zeb’s extensive network and be closely involved in the daily activities of a growing office, including client acquisition and topic development for the Dutch market. Additionally, the size of our office allows us to meet regularly for social events.
Our Amsterdam office, characterized by its international environment, mainly covers topics from our PGs Risk & Advanced Methodology and Corporate & Institutional Banking. You would primarily work on risk management topics and projects like improving mortgage pricing or advising on the integration of banks due to M&As, as well as incorporating sustainability and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) factors into banking practices. If you’d like to learn more about the topics we handle in our Risk & Advanced Methodology PG, we’d be delighted to meet you at our company case event during the Econometric Career Days. A recent QF graduate and a (senior) manager will be there to tell you more about zeb.
