Working as a Quant within APG 

Are you fascinated by the world of asset management? Are you socially engaged, and do you want to take an extra step for responsible investment? Are you determined to develop yourself into a quantitative investment expert?  

By starting as a Quant within APG Asset Management you will be given the opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of quantitative modeling in one of the biggest asset managers in Europe. Supervised by experienced field coaches, you will work on real asset management issues focused on sustainable investment for the long term.  

Because APG manages most of its over 500 billion assets internally, you will be able to see for yourself what goes on in departments such as Portfolio Management, Trading, Model Validation and Asset & Liability Management. APG has all this expertise in house, and that is unique.

Internships and traineeships

  • Trainees start in October every year, the vacancies for the positions open in February. We offer traineeships for future Quants, Finance and Risk Professionals, and Portfolio Managers.
